Strength -TCBA monitors
legislative activities, both on the local
and the state level. The association keeps
local government officials apprised of the
industry's position on issues and it keeps
its members informed about pending governmental
action. TCBA is also is affiliated with a
Political Action Committee, which contributes
to the campaigns of those leaders who are
responsive to the marine industry's needs.

a designated Charitable Fund that has provided
support to many Treasure Coast not-for-profit
organizations and deserving individuals. Some
of these include Big Brothers Big Sisters,
Harbor Branch Oceanographic Dolphin Research,
and Hospice, as well as academic scholarships
to employees or family members of TCBA for
higher education/training programs at Indian
River Community College. |

& Training. Continuing education
is important for every professional. Your
TCBA membership helps keep you informed about
local and industry issues through monthly
meetings featuring prominent business and
community leaders, quarterly general membership
meetings, sales and marketing programs/seminars,
and continuing education seminars. Also, in
conjunction with Indian River Community College,
TCBA maintains a training program for carpentry. |

It's common for TCBA members to do business
with other member firms and it is the Association's
policy to provide the names of member firms
when requests are received for product or

are entitled and encouraged to display your

a copy of our award-winning monthly newspaper,
Builders News. It contains industry news,
