I am not under suspension by, nor disqualified from, participation in any governmental programs for unethical building or business practices, and I agree to abide by the Constitution and the by-laws and amendments and the Code of Ethics for this Association, the National Association of Home Builders and the Florida Home Builders Association. In the event of termination of membership, I agree to immediately discontinue the use of the insignia in any form, and I hereby authorize the Treasure Coast Builders Association to query the references listed above in order to verify my technical competence and business ethics, and I fully understand and agree to the provision that my membership in the National Association of Home Builders and the Florida Home Builders Association will not be registered until my dues are paid in full.

Valid Reasons for Denial of Membership: Out of jurisdiction and nor industry related, history of bad financial or business activities e.g. bankruptcy not cleared up. etc. Contributions or gifts to the Treasure Coast Builders Association are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. However, dues payments are deductible by members as an ordinary and necessary business expense, except for seventy five dollars for lobbying.
